Dips is great, ESPECIALLY their Superman ice cream Love it keep up the great work!

Best ice cream on the island!

Wanted to try a different ice cream shop on the island. This reminds me of getting ice cream after a baseball game. You order at the window. You can go inside but if you're not good with small spaces I would stay outside. The outdoor seating is very quaint. There's free parking on the side street. The staff is friendly and the ice cream is good.

If you go during certain times the place is not very busy, however there is usually a long line. The ice cream is AMAZING!! Lots of really cool flavors. I will certainly return.

Delicious ice cream with lots of flavors to choose from. The price is about what you'd expect from an ice cream place, but the staff is very friendly and what better way to cool off after spending a hot day on the beach!

Dips is by far the best ice cream shop on the island. We have been coming here and getting ice cream for over 20 years and the service and atmosphere has always been 5 star. They have a great selection of flavors and cones, not to mention all the candy and sports memorabilia. If you’re looking for a nice treat after dinner, this is definitely the place to go!

The family loved this place. The walk up window was great. We tried several different flavors. Key lime pie was the winner for my wife and I. Obviously my son loved the Cookie Monster. Great place to sit outside under the shade trees with plenty of sitting. Planning on coming back for sure.

Icecream was good, not the mosquitos

The ice cream was soo good! The soft serve vanilla was super creamy. Surprisingly the hatc serve was bwey creamy too I tried the vanilla and cotton candy which was awesome

We hit Dips twice while on vacation and it was amazing both times. Great service, flavors, and the salty caramel was just amazing. Cash only didn't bother us one bit.

Great sweets just surprised to hear CASH ONLY after being served. There's no signage that reads cash only. No ATM onsite have to use one at a neighboring location.

Dips is in the same building as Anna Maria Island General Store but you can tell when you're in the ice cream shop because of the huge ice cream freezers ready to be scooped into your cone and floor to ceiling shelves of candy. I had the birthday cake ice cream and while it was OK (not enough birthday cake flavor), I wouldn't return for the same flavor.

Our family truly enjoyed our experience here every night. Hailey helped us many nights and our 3 year old son looked forward to seeing her every night. She was great with our kids and very welcoming to guests. I can't say enough about how great a job she did and all of the staff there. They have great ice cream and a great atmosphere. Thank you for a great experience!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Way better than 2 scoops! I've been spending summers on the island for many years and this is the best ice cream place that I have had the joy to experience! Family friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff! Lots of goodies for you and the kiddos!

Do not worry about going to any other ice cream shop on the island they have the best ice cream around and their portion sizes could fill a mini van. This picture shows replica rings in the shop but just as many rings as they have they also have equally number of ice cream flavors. GET to this SHOP.

The staff was very rude and did not want to be there. Really ruined my day. Ice cream is good but expensive. Not worth going!

Delicious! Plus there is a well stocked mini market attached, nevermind a LARGE patio with chairs, tables, and other seating.

Ran by teenagers who don't care. CASH ONLY!!! There is not a sign anywhere saying this and they don't tell you ahead of time. Go to Two Scoops instead. Better service, good selection and they take card and cash.

Great selection of ice cream, but slightly cramped inside the store. The outside porch area is nicer to enjoy your cool treat. They only accept cash, so be prepared!

Got the butter pecan ice cream. It was amazing. Single scoop is very generous. Inside AMI General Store, north end, now on Pine Ave. It is a must when you visit the island.

Stopped in for a hot walk back from the General Store and got the Trash Can in a cup - vanilla ice cream with fudge, M&Ms, peanut butter cups - delicious. I also came buy after a dinner and had the Cappuccino Kahlua which was awesome. They also serve soft serve and gelato.

Little hidden gem on the north end of the island. They had a small store here as well that sell little knick knacks and things like toilet paper. The ice cream here was good and reasonably priced compared to the other ice cream shops on the island.

A staple for our family vacation. Ginnies or Donut Experiment in the morning and Dips after dinner. Best thing about it is their ice cream. Highly recommend the Captain's Butterscotch. In researching the brand, Laughing Cow, this looks to be a premium brand, as it was only found in high end restaurants in my area. Would receive 5 stars if they accepted other payment forms. Time for Square or something. ONLY TAKES CASH

Some of the best ice cream around! I love that they have a walk-up counter as well! The only thing is that they don't have prices listed outside.
